I recently updated Megaman Deathmatch with a more up to date version of Skulltag. Some people have been having random crashes, I can't really pinpoint what's causing them but here's a couple of things we've noticed.

* Multiple people can sometimes crash at the same time.
* Someone said after they switched to software it happened less often.
* So far this has only happened in Duel, but that may only be because that's what people are mainly playing right now.
Steps To ReproduceCan't really put my finger on what exactly it is, but I have a crash dump attached.

The crash seems to happen inside the GL renderer, I can't see what's causing it though. Without more information there is not really anything I can do about it. Did the older Skulltag version crash less often with the same version of your mod or did you update your mod and the Skulltag version at the same time?

At the same time. I'll try to get someone to crash with the older skulltag version, and if that's a no go I'll try testing some other things to try and pinpoint the problem.

Haven't had anyone crash in the older Skulltag yet. Someone reported the crash was happening in software mode too however (in 98e 3216). Here's a log:

This one crashes in P_RecursiveSound called from P_NoiseAlert called from P_FireWeapon. Again the crash log doesn't reveal the crash reason though.

Hi, it's been a while but I decided to give this another go as Duel is a big thing in MM8BDM at the moment.

The reporter states again that this is only happening in Duel. Software mode too. Does this reveal anything different?

Unfortunately the links are dead now. Can you repost the last three crash logs? Preferably attaching them to the report directly instead of uploading them somewhere else?

Both crashes seem to happen in P_FireWeapon, I can't see what's causing them though. Possibly it has to do with calling P_SetPsprite or P_NoiseAlert. So without more information there is nothing I can do about this.

Do you know by now whether the crashes only happen in Duel?
