Description | This is a regression from the fix in:'https://zandronum.com/tracker/view.php?id=1116 [^]' See the attached screenshot. | ||||||||||||
Steps To Reproduce | 1. Start an offline game and add 4+ bots into the game. 2. "nextmap" in the console. If someone is telefragged during the map change, it breaks and the player or bot will not have their weapon brought up. | ||||||||||||
Additional Information | I only noticed it offline so far. This is a return of a similar issue Torr and I worked on way back. | ||||||||||||

FYI, I can reproduce this bug in 3.1 and 3.2 without the respawn weapon desync fix. This doesn't seem to be a regression of'https://zandronum.com/tracker/view.php?id=1116 [^]' (I'd be surprised since that fix only affects online games, not offline games). I noticed that the bug happens when a player is spawn telefragged, then respawns and spawn telefrags another player all within the same tick. |

Ah, I see. My bad. Wow, I can't believe I missed it in 3.1 all this time until now. And from quickly testing every official Zandronum release, it's been broken in all versions. What the heck. For some reason it must've happened more often randomly for me in 3.2 which caused me to notice it and report it. I suspect whatever is causing this bug might be causing the "changemap" map change weapon desync online:'https://zandronum.com/tracker/view.php?id=2309 [^]' The client arrives too late into the next map, and too late on the server when online. |
