| Summary | 0000296: Moving Slopes Online | ||||||||||||
| Description | I have discovered this trouble when i'm testing maps online. Normally I use raise or lower sectors with slopes. Works excellent in Single Player. But... when I execute the action online, the slopes aren't moving properly, you can see in the video, those little sharp vertices, and very bad if you reconnect to a server. The third scene of the video happens when a new player/client joins in a server with the action executed already, also the player/client gets desync when is moving in that sector. | ||||||||||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Download this example wad:'http://www57.zippyshare.com/v/22581217/file.html [^]' 1-Try in single player. You can see how it works correctly. 2-Host a server with the example wad and join in. 3-Press the switches, you can see the first misaligned sectors. 4-Reconnect. The slopes are moved a bit. | ||||||||||||

I can confirm the visual differences between offline / online play, and the difference after a reconnect. But I wonder if you are supposed to move sloped floors / ceilings. |
