Summary | 0001724: Demo will not be saved when player is dropped |
Description | Zandronum does not save the demo file when a player drops/lags out of the server. |
Steps To Reproduce | 1. Set Zandronum client to record your multiplayer game.
2. Join a server/game.
3. Get my kind of internet.
4. Just wait... once you get kicked for missing too many packets, the client will not save the demo file to the disk. |
Additional Information | I haven't tried all possible ways to lose recordings. But I heard the same happens when a client crashes.
Perhaps it is possible to make the client save recording material to the disk on interval? That way you wouldn't lose everything when something goes wrong. |
