| Summary | 0000341: A_CheckSight only checks target online. | ||||||||
| Description | A_CheckSight, which is supposed to jump when no player pawn can POTENTIALLY see the actor, only jumps if it's current target can't potentially see it. For example, I have a gnome that is only supposed to move when nobody can see it, stalking a random player. However, it will begin to stalk its target even if other players are looking right at it. | ||||||||

Without an example wad I can't say what's going on. In general, A_CheckSight should only jump if no player (through his current camera) can see the actor. I checked the code and I don't see any dependence on the actor's current target. Before proceeding, you should first test if A_CheckSight behaves in ZDoom multiplayer (i.e. with at least two players) as you expect it to. |
