Summary | 0000518: Inconsistent "x frags left." announcer when fraglimit is set to 1 or 2 online | ||||||||
Description | There's a difference between online and offline play when it comes to the "x frags left." announcer. | ||||||||
Steps To Reproduce | 1. Start a deathmatch server with fraglimit set to 1. 2. "addbot" in the server console. 3. Connect a client to the server. 4. Join the game. 5. Kill your own player. The announcer will say "2 frags left!" and "You've lost the lead.". 6. "nextmap" in the server console. The announcer will say "1 frag left!" in the next map. This doesn't happen offline. 7. Kill your own player. The announcer will say "You've lost the lead.". | ||||||||
Additional Information | BTW: When fraglimit is set to 1, killing your own player for the 2nd time will not trigger the "3 frags left!" announcer. | ||||||||

This should fix the issue. While I was at it, I unified the client side frag announcer code. Please test if the frag messages are still properly announced in the game modes where they should be (and that they are not announced in the other game modes). |
