| Summary | 0004442: Qt 6: Null terminator parsing errors in server responses | ||||||||
| Description | When Doomseeker is built with Qt 6, data for Zandronum servers (server names, (I)WAD names, maps) have squares at the end of them. I suspect this might be a null terminator. This also renders Doomseeker unable to locate any WADs for these servers since it's checking for filenames with this extra character. This does not affect Chocolate Doom or Turok 2 (Odamex is broken in its own way, that'll be a separate ticket) | ||||||||
| Steps To Reproduce | 1. Build Doomseeker with Qt 6. 2. Look at any Zandronum or QZan server. 3. Strings have squares at the end of them. | ||||||||

Yep, that seems to have fixed it. All the data is correct and I can join servers again now. |
