| Description | The list of Wadseeker default search sites has become thin over the years, with only the Idgames archive and two websites being on it at the moment when I'm writing this. Wad Archive, which Wadseeker supported, also went down recently (0004048). We should try to recuperate this list with new websites. Find them, decide which may be benefitial for the general player (beyond the "custom URL" feature), ask the webmasters for permissions and add finally add them to the list. Also, we need a place to track which websites were already tried and their statuses. | ||||||||||||

I use same ticket, there is another inconvenience that doomseeker completely ignores sv_website. Or there where changes which went and not reflected in zandronum wiki?, because first web search result and https://wiki.zandronum.com/Server_variables wiki says: ``` Sets a website which defines a website for this server. Launchers will use this field as the primary download location for any PWADs they do not have. However, this only works if the website features direct download links for WADs; upload services such as SpeedyShare and FileFront do not and the clients must manually download the required files from them. ``` |
