Summary0003853: Core dumps at launch
DescriptionLaunching zandronum (installed from the DRDTeam APT repository) core dumps saying
"double free or corruption(!prev)" right after the "OSS could not be initialized. Trying ALSA.".
Tried with doom2 1.9 and with dbabrm.pk3 and eonweapons_rc8.pk3.
Happens both when launching from CLI, application menu and Doomseeker.
Zandronum has never been installed before on the machine's Ubuntu install (the OS install itself is quite fresh)

This is due to a recently introduced incompatibility in the version of FMOD Ex used by Zandronum 3.0. See ticket 0003766 for more info. The solutions are to use 3.1 (which uses a working version of FMOD) or start Zandronum with -nosound and set your audio output to SDL, then restart the game.
