|Summary||0003550: Randomly appearing persistent lag|
|Description||While playing Sunlust, with QCDE (or without doesn't matter), at some point in later maps the game will become so laggy with very noticable stutters or just overall lag. Here are my findings:|
1. In 3.0, this becomes some kind of an FPS stuttering instead of lag related issue. It happens around after map20, it will just stutter for 1.5-2 seconds every 3-5 seconds. It simply freezes.
2. In 3.1 this is replaced with lag instead but happens much earlier. We got this in map13 onwards. It was unplayable due to the delay present. The delay was far more than the ping would suggest, so it was very obvious.
|Some new testing shows this happens 100% with Vanilla as well. Map21 starts jittering unconditionally for everyone. Pretty much a legit playthrough of maps 1 to 20 and then reaching 21, firing your weapon to wake monsters up causes jitter. Oddly enough no jitter happens if you don't wake the monsters up.|
|The part in 3.0 seems to be related to demo recording. With it off, we didn't get any stutter.|
