| Summary | 0003228: Zandronum 3.0 breaks Outcast | ||||||||
| Description | I just tried to launch a server with Outcast with the latest beta of Zandronum 3.0 (the one from August 6), and it gave me an error message. I had run the same mod back in January and it ran fine then. I tried it in 2.1.2, and it works fine, and it is running now (Empyre's Little Server). I know that it is technically a graceful exit with an error message and not an actual crash, but it is a failure to run. Crash seemed to be the closest option in the Severity drop-down menu. | ||||||||

I had to fix the URL to download the wads and then remove the animdefs lumps to get it to launch. The error message you posted is only one of many:
The game cannot find HasteRune because it was exported to skulltag_actors.pk3. If you load this wad with skulltag_actors.pk3, it will launch without errors. In the future, please post all errors that occurr or, if possible, attach the entire startup log. |
