Summary | 0000264: NeoDoom.wad (latest y2009-m12-d09 version) crashes on skulltag v0.98d-r3021 (0.98.3021.1)
Description | As said, the skulltag gots fatal error when played level 06 of NeoDoom.wad. It happens frequently on level 6 ("Toxin Supplier"). Always in the same area. _I think_ (not sure!) that it has something to do WHEN A BLACK IMP TRIES TO ATTACK A PLAYER. _I think_ that when he tries to attack, he either dissapears (with no dead body on the ground) or the skulltag crashes. I always get the CrashReport file, which I attach to the report.
Steps To Reproduce | In level 06 of NeoDoom there is an area with a few RocketLauncherZombies not far from the startpoint. There`s a sort of entrance to the toxic sewers (green acid ground) in that hall with a BlackImp inside. Sometimes, when you enter this hall, the BlackImp tries to attack you and the game crashes. Although I`m not 100% sure this is the case, because it`s not always reproducible; I hope the CrashReport would be sufficient.

From the logs it looks like the crash happens in A_Chase, when the calling actor tries to go to its missile state (and all logs show the same crash). Since this happens in single player, did you test if it also happens in GZDoom 323? And can you give me a link to the neodoom.wad version you are using? |

here`s NeoDoom.wad:'http://www.brdoom.com/daniel/arq/NeoDoom.zip [^]' ...... OK, now I see it was my fault. I shouldn`t run this wad on skulltag. I`m playing it now on latest GZDoom and all is OK (no crashes). |

Like in the other thread, it is important that you use the GZDoom version I linked above for testing, not the latest one. Neodoom should work in Skulltag, but possibly there are some (G)ZDoom bugs in Skulltag that are already fixed in the latest GZDoom version and prevent it from working with Skulltag at the moment. |
This issue is already marked as resolved. If you feel that is not the case, please reopen it and explain why. |
