Summary0002451: Some touch-ups to the ALTHUD.
DescriptionI was wondering if it would be possible to add the following to the alternative HUD for Zandronum version 3:
-The Status Bar Face to the left of the "armor meter/health meter" box (when a WAD includes The necessary elements for a Status Bar Face. I never figured out why this was left out)
-You know how message text can be dynamically scaled to fit your monitor's native resolution? I think we should be able to scale the text & graphics of the ALTHUD in much the same dynamic way.
-You know how when a mod with a weapon reload mechanic takes the ALTHUD into account, the clip counter is sandwiched between reserve counters? I think there should be some scripting so that when a mod's developer takes the time to make clip counters show up in a mod's ALTHUD, they're treated as part of the "available weapon" icons instead.
-The in-game clock should be able to show the level time, system time, episode/hub time, & game time simultaneously, if the user so desires.
-The ammo icon graphics in the reserve counters should be to the right of the counters instead of the left, preventing them from getting in the way of seeing the counters when a mod either increases the carrying capacity for a particular ammo type or introduces a new ammo with a high reserve capacity
-You know how the armor meter's icon changes based on what armor type you have? I think there should be something similar for health, where the icon is a health bonus for 1%-9%, a stimpack for 10%-24%, a medikit for 25%-100%, & a Soulsphere for 101% & up.
-The "coordinates" tracker should be able to show both the player coordinates & the cursor coordinates if the user so desires.

I tried suggesting this at zDoom, & they turned it down for some reason.
