Is it any different in GZDoom 323?

Indeed, this happens in GZDoom 323.. Just tested it. In the new Gzdoom, it does not.. so somewhere between 323 and the New Gzdoom, it exist. Not sure if it was fixed in Zdoom or not.. but I'll look though the changelogs and see what version it was fixed in

It works for me. The lookspring is disabled if turned off. But yes, you can actually move the player forward / backward due to the incorrect minimum values for the sliders.

AFAIK this was backported in 2.0...

using 2.0-r150103-1327, i can move the forward/backward speed slider all the way to the left, disable mouselook and lookspring, and moving my mouse does not move me around
