Target Version | Fixed in Version | 1.2
Summary | 0001447: FMOD lib should be included with tar.gz
Description | The FMOD lib should be included with the tar.gz like on Windows and Mac. The FMOD website does not always allow the user to download the correct older libraries, necessary for launching the engine, without emailing during extended maintenance periods.
Steps To Reproduce | 1. Try downloading ExFMOD from FMOD during maintenance period.
Additional Information | I assume the library can be included as it is in the Windows and Mac builds. There is no reason not to have the lib included with the engine.

I remember I didn't just had to download fmod, I needed to perform a long hunting in archives to find the right version. Maybe if not fmod itself because of some copyrights, maybe a script which would wget it and install? I remember fmod was a big nuicance to get. And IIRC you DO need proper version, not a random stable version. Oh, I've read that there are maintenance problems, now. Maybe there is some way to fix it? But it should be. |

That maintenance or whatnot is complete now btw, you can get fmod from its website again. |

This was fixed for the 1.2 release. I also chrpath'd the client binary so it should be able to find the shared object as long as the file is with the binary. |
