| Summary | 0001213: Starting single player via Doomseeker impossible | ||||||||
| Description | Trying to start offline mode game with Doomseeker causes it to write in console "[18:51:56] Starting (working dir /usr/games/zandronum): /usr/games/zandronum/zandronum /usr/games/zandronum/zandronum: error while loading shared libraries: libfmodex-4.24.16.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory" However, ls -a shows xxx@zzz:/usr/games/zandronum$ ls -a . libfmodex-4.24.16.so skulltag_actors.pk3 zandronum.pk3 .. liboutput_sdl.so zandronum zandronum-server so the fmod is there. Running game just typing zandronum in command line or using shortcut works fine. All wads and binaries are set properely in Doomseeker. As I remember from IRC, it does not happened to me as for the first person... | ||||||||

Oops. I can't join servers as well. |

I found a pretty unexpected fix: if I change binary from the proper path to just "zandronum" it all works well... |

Yes. Although technically the proper setting /usr/bin/zandronum (a shell script that tells Zandronum where to find the libraries), that should work too. |
