0001050: Very fatal error crash on startup.

Description

Few days ago I introduced a friend of my to zandronum recently.
When he installed it on his stationary PC it worked fine, and a day later when he tried to install it on his laptop, it crashed every time he launched it (after that small debug window done loading).
I've attached an image that my friend sent me (please ignore his drawing over it, it was a joke).

We couldn't find a solution for that problem online, and nor did the alpha version provided a fix.

Recently my friend told me he fixed the problem.
It appears that the game crashed because he had his laptop's built-in speakers disabled.
Once he re-enabled them the game worked.
