Summary | 0004316: Disabling tic buffer after enabling sv_smoothplayers causes client to get stuck in "connection interrupted" state |
Description | Noticed this while testing sv_smoothplayers in'https://zandronum.com/tracker/view.php?id=3334 [^]'
The client will get stuck in a "connection interrupted" state if the tic buffer is disabled after enabling this feature. |
Steps To Reproduce | 1. zandronum -host -iwad doom2.wad +map map01 +sv_useticbuffer 1 +sv_smoothplayers 0
2. Connect a client to the server and join the game.
3. "sv_smoothplayers 1" in the server console or RCON.
4. Wait 7 seconds or so.
5. "sv_useticbuffer 0" in the server console or RCON. The client will get stuck until the tic buffer is enabled again. |
