Clientside gore is still a good idea, though. Expect to see it shamelessly plagarized in the next version of Brutal Doom.

Right. Not that Brutal Doom is built more-or-less entirely for this kind of thing
(note I've played Brutal Doom all of like once ever but still that was enough)
Also plagiarizing the clientside gore is hard because Samsara's code is annoyingly complex (as I'm trying to keep up with in SamsaraHold)
EDIT: Unless the plagiarizing thing was a joke.

The clientside gore system is so stupidly easy I'm surprised it hasn't been done already, actually--it's quite literally just two cvar checks and two jumps. If it goes over well, I fully expect it to see it s̶t̶o̶l̶e̶n̶ ̶f̶o̶r̶ implemented in Brutal Doom in the future.
Though, mind, this is just one setting (I plan on having samsara_cl_bloodyhell 2 and 3 for even more bloody burrshet) on one slaughtermap with two dudes, so who knows. Maybe once one of those variables increase things will go from "yeah this is perfectly feasible and doable" to "oh god the brown stuff hit the swirly thingy".

In worst case, I'd like to steal it, just like how I (and many others) steal from NashGore.

Samsara_BloodyHell -1 is best setting ever.
It's what we call "pure genius"

Samsara_BloodyHell -1 makes Brutal Doom look like Chex Quest

When I tried running samsara-v0.3, samsara-naraka-v0.13, and SamsaraMonsterMixer-v0.15a together, an odd glitch happens. When I kill one of the chex monsters that replaces a cacodemon, its dead body becomes a green cyberdemon sprite.
In case it matters, I am playing it in singleplayer with +multiplayer.

Mehhh. I've had togglable gore in Super Skulltag for literally
years (well, a script that toggles ALL clientside effects, including gore, but not gore specifically), and Mark hasn't ripped the code yet. But that might be partly because I never included the ACS source. ;p
But yes, as Term said, it's a very very easy thing to code.

Mommy never told me that zombies explode in a shower of sparkles! :( Silliness aside, gore that you can turn on and off = awesome idea.

Oh, whoops. Sorry.
I stand corrected, then, you did it first. :p

So, while we (not so) patiently await for the next update and/or character, I though it would be a nice idea to share our finest Samsara moments, you know, just to kill time.

An
oldie but goodie:
Corvus has Balls of Steel! Been awhile since I've seen this bug, but it pops up occasionally. TBH, I hope it's never fixed.

That must be an old Samsara version, judging by Duke's face in the screenshot.

Footage from last night's test. Though I think a angry mob is after me for picking the levels.

I kinda liked the levels. Abeit how they got a little tight at points. But still, good pick.

Functional Holoduke, but it requires Zdoom because of +FORCEPAIN.
