Summary0000990: Zandronum reset setting when i close game while playing in GV Priv
Descriptionwell when i go into the server and change some setting, when i quit the game zandronum crash and settings reset
Steps To Reproduce1. go on gv priv server

 Please post the full name of the server and also let me know the password in case it's password protected (or have whoever is allowed to share the password contact me).

 I got the password and tried the server. Worked fine for me. Did you try deleting your and emptying your announcer and skins directories?

 I've got some similar problems on Windows 7 x86.
Some servers doesn't have sounds at all but music is played that is strange. Deleting skins and announcers doesn't help. When you exit the game it crashes without saving modified settings thus settings reset effect. One of problematic server is [UK] -->Grandvoid--> Ghouls vs Humans: Nordic Saga Deathmatch but there are more servers, just can't remember them. I remember that some of them were DM, LMS, survival and coop.
If you delete your settings file the game will create a empty file because of crash.
Should I attach a crash log?

 I've heard reports that this (specifically the sounds issue) happens only when joining via Doomseeker, not IDE.

 Confirmed, IDE launches the game so it functions properly. Weird.

Found out that disabling demo recording in Doomseeker will fix the issues.

 Very interesting observation! Can you post your Doomseeker config (with demo recording) so that I can try to reproduce the crash locally?

 One more question: Does IDE still work properly if you enable demo recording?

 I'm unsure what I should do since IDE doesn't have a built-in demo recording option but I've added "-record temp.cld" to custom launch options and the game works well.

 IDE does have a built-in demo recording option: Options -> Launch Game Parameters -> Demos -> Record Demos.
