Summary | 0004450: Integrate'https://auth.zandronum.com [^]' logins into server browsers like Doom Explorer and Doomseeker |
Description | It would maybe be nice for some users if you could login to your account before joining a game. This would perhaps allow for a better "friend notification" system that would be linked between the server browsers, the in-game experience, and the'https://auth.zandronum.com/users [^]' page.
What would happen is that the user would either save or manually type in their login_add / login_default_user credentials to the server browser, and then the server browser would allow you to login before starting a game if wanted. Upon closing the server browser, the user would either automatically be logged out of their account, or they would remain logged in for "x amount of minutes" before truly being logged off by the auth server.
Users would also be able to opt-out of logging in with the server browser, if they prefer to do it instead while in-game.
And there would be a need for a time-out period between each login message pinged out to other accounts in-game. |
Additional Information | The notification messages would have to be suppressed in client demos. |
