| Summary | 0004333: Crash after exiting the game on Fedora 40 (My ini file is also never saved) |
| Description | After exiting the game, I get a crash when it does:
*** Fatal Error ***
Address not mapped to object (signal 11)
Address: 0x7faa190d2db0
It also for some reason does not write to my ini file stored in ~/.config/zandronum which exists and is writable. This makes playing zandronum very annoying if I have to set up all my key bindings etc... every time I load the damn thing. |
| Steps To Reproduce | On Fedora 40 all you need to do is load the game. Multiplayer or single player, does not matter. Then make a few changes to your settings, any settings then quit the game. I would expect no crash and my ini file updated but instead I get a crash and the discovery that my ini file was never updated. |
| Additional Information | Ive tried this on both 3.1 and 3.2 and I even compiled my own build, it still happens. I even tried a suggestion from the support channel on discord to comment out line 137 in src/sdl/hardware.cpp and re-compile, which was.
