Summary0003063: Some polyobj functions not working in multiplayer
DescriptionThe following functions and their override versions
- Polyobj_MoveTo
- Polyobj_MoveToSpot
- Polyobj_Stop
do not work properly when playing in multiplayer. Clients will not visually update polyobject positions correctly. The collisions do still work (probably related to the fact that they are handled by server). If you connect AFTER polyobjects are moved, their positions are in correct place until another movement is done.
Additionally, both MoveTo and MoveToSpot will produce this message in server console (was able to reproduce this one only with OPEN script):
"WARNING: DPolyAction::UpdateToClient was called. This should never happen! Please report this at the Zandronum bug tracker!"
Steps To Reproduce1. Host the attached WAD
2. Join the server
3. Press the switch
4. Moving columns won't have their positions updated correctly (they should move toward the other end of the room, while the far end one should stop quickly after pressing the switch).
Additional InformationIs an issue in both 2.1.2 and current 3.0 alpha.
