Summary | 0000306: Weapons on first pickup in deathmatch give 2.5x their weapon.ammogive amount, could that be an option instead of required?
Description | I'd like to see this as an option or DMFLAG/COMPATFLAG instead of something automatic. I like having weapons give a lot of ammo in invasion, in case some quick guy runs in and grabs it all, but it breaks in deathmatch because players end up with way too much ammo. For example, I'd like the minigun to give 50 ammo on pickup, but in deathmatch, that means the player would get 125 ammo (way too much). If I set it so that the player would get 50 ammo in deathmatch, he'll only get 20 in a co-op round. I could hack it so that invasion weapons and deathmatch weapons are different, but if it wouldn't be too much trouble, assigning it to a DMFLAG would save me quite a bit of hacking, because my map pack has co-op, invasion, and deathmatch maps. What do you guys think?
Steps To Reproduce | Warp into D2DM1 and pick up the super shotgun, it gives you 20 instead of 8. Then, go into E1M1 and summon a shotgun, it gives you 8.

I said E1M1, that's a typo. I tested it using Doom2, so that would be MAP01. (if it matters) |

This is standard behavior and a change like this would have to be implemented in ZDoom first. Even then, the decorate flag +IGNORESKILL already solves this issue. |
This issue is already marked as resolved. If you feel that is not the case, please reopen it and explain why. |
