Summary | 0002683: Backport A_ChangeVelocity/A_ScaleVelocity pointer field. |
Description | A_ChangeVelocity and A_ScaleVelocity ended up getting a pointer field sometime after ZDoom 2.7.1, which I need in order to base a target's velocity change on the angle and pitch of the attacking player. (This is for what is essentially a baseball bat, that uses the player's pitch and angle to send players and enemies flying in the desired direction like a home-run.)
I've attempted using ACS and other ugly decorate hacks (such as giving inventory items that apply vertical velocity while using radiusthrust to push them away from the player), but nothing produces the effect I desire. |
