Summary | 0002614: Executing changemap while at the last moments of intermission can cause clients to temporarily load the wrong map |
Description | If a changemap command is executed serverside while clients are at an intermission screen, it leads to just a slightly longer intermission. But if the changemap command is executed at the last moments of an intermission screen, it causes all clients to load the map that was not the one specified in the changemap command.
While at that map, no clients can join the game, because it was actually not a game, but an intermission without a background or scoreboard. Clients can fly around the map as spectators, and bringing up the scoreboard using the "Show scoreboard" key reveals that it is actually an intermission.
After this "intermission" is over, all clients finally load the map specified in the changemap command and the game continues. |
Steps To Reproduce | 1) Start a multiplayer game
2) enter an intermission by any means (including changemap)
3) execute "changemap someothermap" at the last moment before it automatically switches to a new map (timing to intermission music can help)
4) clients have loaded the wrong map
