Summary | 0004531: Using "spynext" as a demo spectator before demo recorder turns into player desyncs demo recorder's spectator view |
Description | Just something I noticed while testing 0004528. If a demo spectator uses "spynext" before the demo recorder turns into a real player, it will erroneously think the demo recorder is at the last position the demo spectator was at prior to using the command. This greatly desyncs the demo recorder's spectator view until it turns into a real player.
It doesn't seem to affect real players however, thankfully. |

I recorded a simple demo with 3.1 where you can simply use "spectate" to enter free spectate mode and then use "spynext" while moving around as a free spectator and notice how the demo recorder's spectator POV switches to that of the free spectator whenever the command is used. |
