Summary | 0004477: Spectator is moved back to map spawn spot instead of remaining at last spot when spied-on player dies in survival | ||||||||||||
Description | I noticed this recently when observing other players in survival. If you spy on a player and the player dies, your view is forced to move all the way back to the map start instead of remaining at where the player died. This is not ideal, since some maps can be quite large, and being forced to go all the way back to the start is jarring. Of course you can easily spy on another player again or move around yourself, but it would be better and intuitive if the spectator got to remain at the last point the player lived, especially if cl_telespy is 1. * If cl_telespy is 1, it should move the spectator body to the player death spot. * If cl_telespy is 0, it should move the spectator body to the last spot the spectator body was at before it spied on the player. | ||||||||||||
