Summary | 0000294: Inconsistent counter display between the status bar and fullscreen HUD |
Description | The HUD display is very inconsistent in the different game modes. In TLMS, no team counters are displayed in the Doom status bar HUD unless there are players on both teams. In DM, the rank / spread counters are flipped vertically in the fullscreen HUD. In duel, the rank counter is missing in the fullscreen HUD.
There are more examples, but the point is: Wouldn't it be better to set a standard? IMHO, it'd be better if all the counters were displayed from start. Some consistency would make things less confusing. |
