Summary | 0001904: Zandronum icon in Dock is useless while hosting
Description | Subj. When hosting a server, Zandronum icon does nothing. It just sits here, besides the system thinks that application is not responding. Thus the only use for it is to use Force Quit. I know that Mac version does not have a window by itself, it is either provided by Doomseeker or by Terminal. So it would be very nice to: 1. In best case, teach Zandronum to catch «rapp aevt»: Reopen Application Apple Event. It would be nice if Zandronum could, on rapp aevt, tell Doomseeker to become active application and highlight windows that is associated with the process. As for Terminal (not using Doomseeker), it would be possible to just print bell, making Terminal display (1) and jump, showing off the window that belled. 1a. It would be also nice if Zandronum icon in Dock, while hosting server, would also draw a number on the icon (e.g., port and maybe connected/maximum players). 2. In worst case, make SDL not produce these icons when hosting a server. All they do is fill Dock uselessly. This is an easiest approach for developers, but not as good as 1st for users.
Steps To Reproduce | 1. Host a server. 2. Try to click Zandronum icon in Dock. See no response given. 3. Check Activity Monitor. Notice Zandronum is not responding while it is actually running just fine.
