Description | Ambient sounds (and perhaps some other things as well) pile up for incoming clients, for reconnecting clients and after "map/changemap" map changes. This causes the clients to play sounds at rapid speeds for a long time if they've been on the server for a while. Each reconnect and "map/changemap" map change causes the sounds to play at rapid speeds even longer than before. So the longer you are on the server, the more it bugs up. | ||

Steps To Reproduce | 1. Start a server with the example WAD loaded. 2. Connect a client to the server. 3. "reconnect" in the console or "changemap map01" in the server console. 4. Repeat step 3. |

Steps To Reproduce | 1. zandronum -file amb_snd_test_01.wad -host. 2. Connect a client to the server. 3. "reconnect" in the console or "map/changemap map01" in the server console. 4. Repeat step 3 a few times. The sounds will pile up at rapid speeds. 5. "disconnect" in the console. 6. "reconnect" in the console. The sounds will still pile up, but not as much anymore. |
