The primary emphasis in Burl Tumd is speed: EVERYTHING happens faster. You move faster, you kill faster, and you die faster. Weapons are made to be far more responsive and powerful, and in addition to speed there's a large emphasis on efficiency. Playing intelligently and using the right weapon at the right time will let you tear through the hordes at incredible speeds, whereas rushing in blindly will get you massacred quickly. I highly suggest that you read the .txt past the screenshots before playing so that you at least have some idea of what you're doing.

This mod satisfies my ancient fetish for killing demons with guns. And swords. But mostly guns.

This is like, everything good about Doom amplified, and without any additional clutter getting in the way. I love it.

I love this, the fast pace and extra gore really make this appealing. The shotgun rocks too.

Hey guys, miniscule update here. tl;dr rockets are slightly less murder (only against you) and rockets go straight through revenant missiles (oh fug)

Ok after further gameplay, I have to say the plasma rifle alt fire still sucks, it just doesn't do enough damage to compensate the ammo drain. It's not even good for crowds, it takes around 3 to kill one cacodemon...

There are some bugs in the plasma alt fire, or maybe 2 aspects of the same bug. It shoots through walls at least as thick as 16 units, and it is often blocked by lines that are flagged to block monsters. In both cases, it shoots through if you stand the right distance away.

Ivan, the plasma alt-fire appears to rely on splash damage. I noticed that if I shoot it right into a group of zombies, some of them survive, but if I shoot at the floor in the middle of them, they all go splat.
