When I was young, I was taught to how to feel the energy/aura emanating from other people. It's usually how I can tell if someone in the room is either in pain or in a foul mood, usually manifests as tremors or the feeling like I have someone running their hands up and down my spine.

Now, if stands were real, and considering they're manifestations of spirit energy/life-force, perhaps my stand could not only help me easily determine mood, physical health, intent, and whatnot, but also manipulate it's own energy field. It would attack by irradiating the area and nearby stands with it's own energy, at risk of it being lost or bound to other objects and stands. It could perhaps function in a disruptive manner.

I could see it being able to stun or temporarily disable stronger stands (Obscenely strong stands like Star Platinum could shrug it off completely), and possibly destabilize and deform weak stands beyond recognition, destroying the stand and fucking up its user's physical makeup in a lethal and unpredictable way (since they're connected).

Feel free to laugh as you want, but It's something that my family has firmly believed in for years. Some people are empathic and/or feel shit around them without the need for words, some are not. It kind of reminds me how some people who are hospitalized and cannot speak or seem generally catatonic, but still are influenced by the moods of the people around them, such as, say, a nurse who does his/her job but is constantly bitchy and in a foul state of mind, vs. someone who's more positive. It's not something normally picked up consciously.

Have you not ever been around a person around you who gives you the fucking heebee jeebees without them even speaking a word to you, nor having any outstanding appearance? That's what it's like. It's all about learning to acknowledge when it happens and focus on it, and becoming better at picking up on it.

Also, I see people raiding my forums because of that post. That's uncalled for. Nice to see alternative ways of thinking or believing in things are "tolerated" here. Guess you'd love things like Chinese medicine, Tibetan culture or anyone who believes in Chakra. Never claimed it was a supernatural (edit:Fixed) power. Way to take things out of context. Call it a talent that can be learned. It's about focus and paying attention to changes around you, and changes in your own physical feeling and mood. Not very different from things such as meditation. Also, if you believe in dowsing, you can take it a bit further. (I know it's generally considered a pseudoscience in the means of finding things like Oil reserves, which is indeed a load of crap, but when using certain instruments to find electromagnetic fields, it's a different story.)

Yes, I acquired this ability as well from watching several hundred hours of anime. I observed how the characters were able to sense killing intent from far away and I mastered it myself, I swear! I can even scare people with my aura just like the anime villains.

I don't even watch much Anime. All I give a damn about is Cowboy Bebop, Jojo, and Hellsing. So don't take me as some weeaboo faggot. Also, nice way to overblow it. I never claimed I could sense "Killing intent", or even so much as the exact mood of someone. I can't fucking read minds, nobody can. People can damn sure get disrupted in the presence of others though. How it happens? Depends on what you believe. If you want to be scientific about it, it could just be pheromones, or subconscious response to vocal and visual cues.
