Just expirienced my first few Zandronum Games!

Hello everyone. Just had my first few Zandronum Games, I played a bit of survival (and didn't do to well.) And I played a complete round of all out war, and I'm having a blast!

Do you mind me asking if you have any servers you recommend? I'm rather new to the whole online doom experience, despite the fact that I've been playing doom since I've been 4 years old. :)

I know you weren't talking to me, but I have some suggestions.

Zombie Horde and WhoDunIt are great mods.
I highly recommend going to any server you see using those mods, if you do see a server. I'm not sure, I rarely see any WDI servers with people in them these days.

What does the Acronym WDI stand for?

How did I find out about Zandronum? I discovered it shortly after skulltag was abandoned, plus I've played with mods that require zandrunom, such as armed recruit.

Ah, thanks for explaining.

I tried to join a cooperative server that had a variant of real guns, but my hud was all messed up when I created my class. I had no idea how to shrink all of the status bars and everything. But I'm sure there's an option I can change in the menus.

Welcome aboard, and enjoy your stay. If you enjoy competition, duel32 and ctf are the go-to servers of choice.
For everything else there's survival. (and mastercard)
Projects completed : PROCTF, Jump Maze, Tricky ST, RJX, RJX Remastered, Jump Maze X
Newest Project : Nothing at present, potentially a JM1 update.

Your HUD problem might stem from an irresponsible mod author forcing HUD scaling in their mod. Try applying this:

Terminus posting reminded me of another mod - Samsara

It's all the fun of classic FPS games in a single class pack compatible with all Iwads.

Yeah I've played that, its a really good mod. Each class has their own play style and feel. Feels a lot like team fortress 2.
