Much more needs to be done, but I can safely say this is at least 50% complete.
Now that's a lot of colour. Too much IMO.

RE: What are you working on? [WIP Screenshots Thread]
The Game King, I agree with Dark-Assassin in that there is a bit too much color happening, but at the same time I think it looks pretty atmospheric, perfect fit for D64.
W1D3A55, those shots look really impressive, the blue and red lights are a shmexy combo.
one_Two, I'm interested to see that pokemon thing in game some time. Have you worked more on it?
I've been working on a little something I think most deathmatchers will enjoy. At the turn of the new year, it will mark the 20th anniversary of DWANGO, and global dooming as a whole. I thought it would be appropriate to celebrate it with a new Dwango wad, perhaps called DWANGO20. What I've done is compile a bunch of maps from /idgames made between the years 1994 and 1998, the best I could find - all of them giving permission for editing/reuse, of course.

However, the idea I had to make this project fun was to really detail these maps up, get them looking up to modern par and release them around December of 2014. Have an "unedited" pack called DWANG20 than will run in vanilla Doom 2, and one called DWANGO20 later on which takes advantage of Boom effects and a nearly unlimited visplane count. I would also ensure that it runs in all commonly used source ports, so as to no exclude any doomers.
At some point I'll make a thread for the project on it's own, but there really isn't enough progress yet. I'm also going to make one last entryway themed map, the goal being that it impresses even the most tired-of-entryway Doomers. After all, it's a dwango tribute! (I've made way too many map01 remakes in my lifetime..)
This is meant to be the whole package for a vanilla loving player, as well as newschool players. A new colormap will be in place as well as plenty of use of engine tricks that will ensure a fresh DMing experience. Some maps I've picked will be weeded out and such - anyway, enough talk, let's see what we've got so far:

Hella rad.
A few months back I was gonna help a guy make a hexen mod, it was designed to basically just add loads of stuff including 2 new classes; ranger and necromancer.
That was until we discovered that Wrath of Consor made exactly the same thing but better >:(

Welp, guess some people better get out the good shoes. or else a dodgeball might clock them.

RE: What are you working on? [WIP Screenshots Thread]
I've had a folder sitting on my hard drive for quite some time now.
The idea is basically a "2Doom".
I'm not sure what to do with this.
I don't know if people would be interested in this.
I'm only posting this here because I personnally think it has a lot of potential and because I don't know where else I could post this. I don't want to make a thread for it (yet ?).
It uses a lot of ACS and it's still in an early alpha stage.

RE: What are you working on? [WIP Screenshots Thread]
Looks pretty good yeah, my only concern with these 2d mods is how the controls copy over. I saw this vid the other day and although I couldn't actually get the mod to work (only in fps mode) something like that in doom would be really cool.
