1.) TONS of R667 stuff.
2.) Invasion maps, all big and bland.
3.) The only thing that's really "unique" here is playing as a monster, but that's been done before as well.

Got back to working on this pokemon clone, though given up on getting the ingame camera to work, so now it's gonna be a kind of mini game set in the day care centre but using the normal mechanics (as best I can get it).

Got SMMP working with vanilla DM packs like UDMX:

Still a WIP, but most custom weapons will spawn, and backpacks filled with Molotovs and other inventory items are planned. If you're wondering what's up with the red SSG, it's an SSG that shoots fire.

Currently it looks very flat due to a lack of light variance, otherwise I'd just say the texture used for the pillars is a bit boring due to it being the exact same material as everything else on the platform.

Well it's just a start, + as far as i can see it's under-ground so you wouldn't be able to see much at all anyways, and in real life no one would be like "Oh yeah this metal pillar's texture is boring" they'd be happy just to be able to walk on it lol.

The point of that room is probably like a starting area or whatever, and i kinda like the idea of that room it's cool.

There's a big difference between "real" and "Doom", mostly because the latter takes a big smelly dump on most things that define the former.

Like how the cave isn't pitch-black, what's up with that? Besides a pitch-black cave being a very, very bad gameplay element in this case.
So you might as well make it a bit pretty while you're killing reality.

Well i'm not gonna argue on that one, that IS true.

But i do like how the area with the pillars look tbh, but that's just my personal opinion.

Started making a random map a few days ago that looks really nice so far. It'll be OpenGL only, but im not gonna go too overboard on it. Also, I'm not sure if i should go with a Player V. UAC storyline or a Player v. Nazi one. But anyways here are teh scweenies:
