ALL his weapons/items are already fully coded and its just a matter of getting the sprites and adding him to the playerclasses -of course palette change the sprites to doom + some paperwork with replacings..

As for the Strifeguy Debate... I seriously regret that this discussion isn't happening on IRC. It would surely make it easier for us to spam 'STRIFE GUY OP' "NO IF YOU PLAY WITHOUT USING OP" over and over again.
Also arguing that 'poison bolts will fuck all Doom monsters, since they are all organic' is silly, once you realize that you can change 'instantkill' to 'some poison damage' without breaking a sweat.

From what I see, What I'd do would be kind of ambitious, but strife isn't all as impossible as it sounds.
Fist: Punch Dagger.
Pistol: Yeah you guys don't get one.
Slot 1: Flamethrower. It would use cells, much like the Laser Cannon did for ranger back in 0.28, but it would be unupgraded, meaning that 4-16 damage is kind of terrible, especially with limited range and accuracy.
Slot 2: Crossbow. The catch is, poison bolts would be removed (or at the very least, /severely/ nerfed), but the primary fire would be buffed to 20-80 damage (in addition to having damagetypes against the appropriate monsters), making it a Shell-using Fusion Pistol.
Slot 3: Mini-Missile-Launcher. It's not OP until it actually has the accuracy to hit anything outside of melee.
Slot 4: Assault Gun. I'd say up the damage to 4d3 instead of 3d3 (It's a terrible chaingun if it can't out DPS the chaingun), and leave it with base accuracy.
Slot 5: Grenade Launcher: Do the same as you did to Duke, Normalize it. 75 damage, 128 Explosion Radius/Damage, and phosphorus grenades would use 20 rockets per shot.
Slot 6: Mauler. 20 Health is a lot more than you make it out to be, and some maps are actually unforgiving about health placement, and most are a lot stricter about health placement than with ammo placement, that much I can tell you. I'd, of course, up the Mauler2's ammo usage up to 40, and make it 25 health-the value of a precious Medikit, which means you'd actually have to dodge well, or sacrifice yourself to your own weapon.
Slot 7: Sigil. Alright, I admit, I'm outta ideas here. The using health thing is cool, but the Sigil takes this gimmick too far. I have no idea what to do-Making it use too much health per shot would make it useless, since it would be a suicide weapon, but if it's too little, it's a spam cannon.
Unique: Either Power Scanner (Reveals all actors on map) OR a single Teleporter Beacon. Neither of those are particularly powerful. The Power Scanner is a great utility to have around (since seeing actors can allow you some pretty sweet plans to avoid traps), but in the end, it's not going to save your life, and as Samsara/Stronghold has demonstrated where everyone spams a wall of them, a single teleport beacon, while useful, isn't stupidly powerful.
So someone (CloudFlash, if you're requesting so intensely) could actually try making this as an addon if they figure out what to do with the sigil.

As for what Untitled said, I agree on most points more or less, but would like to say that "20 rockets per phosporous grenade" is actually a somewhat bad idea, since it will just be used too scarcely to make a noticeable gameplay element. Better just make them do less than ~20000 lasting damage per grenade or something.

and here we're introducing a bunch of elements not in strife, changing weapons to the point where they don't act like their original weapons at all (making poison bolts not instant kill removes the only reason they had to exist), or completely omitting huge parts of strife to make him not retardedly OP against everyone and everything but roflrockets

It's funny that I am simply ignoring all this discussion. I got my own ideas for Strifeguy that hopefully will keep him "Strifeish" enough. Actually, I'm simply trying to make him playable in other iwads, than rather, keep him reserved for only one native iwad. If he's gonna suck, I don't care. I have enough pleasure in seeing him already make his first steps in any place other than Strife.

Okay then. Care to elaborate on how you're doing strifeguy right? (That's not a rhetorical question btw, I'm actually curious on how you're going to make this work.)
