Also Terminus, wouldnt it be cool if Ranger and his weapons were OpenGL models? but the question is, will it decrease performance when Ranger is in 3D?

So, I have made what is probably the last update before updating the codebase to samsara/stronghold, 0.48.
Check it out on page 29 (assuming 20 posts per page)!

I think it would be a good idea to make your own thread because it is awkward for players to hunt down that post. If you don't want to do that, at least include the newest link in each new update post you make in this thread.

EDIT: At the top of each post is a link to the post itself. You could post that link in new updates to send people to your original post. It would look like this:

Derp. Didn't know that. Oh well, doesn't really matter, as most of the time, people get the files by joining the server I hosted on BestEver.

But anyways, in other news, so 0.48 had a pretty major bug (I fixed the battlelords, but broked them again in the process.)
so, without further ado, check out 0.49, which should be the last version before I update the codebase from Samsara0.28 to Samsara0.29b:

EDIT: NOPE, turns out more bugs. 0.51 should be the big update.

EDIT #2: About time for the 0.29 codebase jump: Ranger's new loadout and powerups is here to stay, after about 50000 headaches.

EDIT #3: Turns out Ranger's powerups broke stuff, so you don't get them. Sorry!

I've been thinking about doing this too, but never really saw the benefit. It's just one more thing to remember to update, and anybody who will see a Doom mod's moddb page is someone who most likely already knows about it via the ZDoom or Zandronum forums. Or YouTube.

Hello.
I just want to say that I have had a hell of a time playing this mod! I love it!
I still have to read the thread for what's going but excuse my ignorance for what I'm going to say because it may have been said before:
Is Strife guy going to be included?
And is the Ranger not included in the singleplayer menu because of the font being big?
I look forward to seeing progress and I wish to support you all the way!

First off, no, neither Strifeguy nor Caleb are going to be included. Sorry.
Ranger not being in the singleplayer menu is a Zandronum limitation, which can only have seven classes displayed on the screen. ZDoom doesn't have this limitation. Typing "spectate" in the console and joining as Ranger is a very easy workaround, though!

At 0732 hours last Sunday, a single Cyberdemon infiltrated the Union Aerospace Corporation Telecommunications Power Facility in Nevada with the intent upon powering down the facility and diverting its power towards Hell’s forces.

Though they fought bravely in the face of overwhelming power, 153 UAC officers, marines, engineers, and other personnel were lost in the attack. Our heartfelt condolences go out to the friends and family of these brave men and women.

[spoiler]The enemy set is a modified version of Woolie Wool's Mutiny mod, and will not be packaged with Naraka. Sorry.[/spoiler]
