Hi! Sorry I don't get around these parts often.
I'm still lead developer of MM8BDM but I have a team working on content for the game now. We'll be upgrading to Zandronum post haste. We expect a release before the end of the year. From then on we'll keep updating to the latest Zandronum and try to support it as much as we can!

Great! By the end of the year it's also possible that Zandronum 1.1 is out.

Squeezing more fancy features out of Zand is a very good plan

I for one am happy that MM8BDM is updating to Zand and it will make going back and forth between doom and MM8BDM much easier for me because i use doomseeker and i have to switch between Skulltag and Zand to play doom and MM8BDM but yes i consider MM8BDM a gateway to doom for the newer younger people who have never played doom before

Never could get fully into the wad, but then the hassle of switching ports is always consuming. Then again its been years since I've last played Skulltag so its probably somewhere lost in the bottomless pit of toxic lava that is my "My Documents".
Hope Zandronum continues to get such coverage though! So good work I guess on spreading the word.
"This sorta situation gettin' kinda bad." "Kinda bad? This here's horrible we're gonna DIE!" "Yeah but I ain't worried." "How is you ain't worried?" "'Cus you can smack 'em all with yo dang-a-lang." "Oh snap, you're right." *whips out BFG*
I'm in game as CubedSoul.
Also we need a BFG similar to beta Doom, other words a Christmas gun.

I should really set some controls up and call it for defaults or something, because the current situation is totally unacceptable.
I mean 640x480 Software Fullscreen, Doom.exe controls and no mouselook? "gooby pls" Or something. No.
And no, I definitely don't think MM8BDM should be separated from the rest.
Yes it makes for a clutter, but there's also the lulzy aspect of forced advertising and potential interest from sharing masterservers.

Yes Better default controls and settings would be awesome and sharing a master server is ok for me because i like to swap between doom and MM8BDM but yes Having better default controls and settings would help make both doom and MM8BDM easier for newcomers to pick up and play

Yes! Now I'll never have to bother setting up Skulltag alongside Zandronum in IDE.

I don't think that the IDE Skulltag feature does that anyway.
