Santa is an interesting gameplay concept with a terrible character.
The idea is more weapons with a little bit of ammo. From a gameplay standpoint, this is interesting because it forces you to ration yourself out. Sure, you have a lot of equipment for different scenarios, but you can deal with these scenarios only once or twice before that option is removed from you. As time goes on, you start running out of options. Very different from everyone else.

The character, though? Guh.
Not that GvH exactly tries to be super serious all the time now, but the tone of the Ghouls VS Humans is horror and darkness. You have demonic terrible Ghouls clamoring for the end of mankind lead on by the cruel Yurei, and the few saviors of humanity trying to fight them back, and most of the iconic arenas are based around terribly dank and dark locales that would work wonderfully in a horror game.
Then comes Santa, who as an icon is all about cheer and goodwill, and so when he starts kicking ass in a world about horror it's a complete dissonance. It makes about as much sense as Diddy Kong in Killing Floor. I mean, sure, he can technically work, he has guns and can fight enemies, but he completely goes against the intended tone and setting.

A survivalist civilian type would probably work better--a paranoid "end of the world is coming" dude who scavenges for anything and everything to prepare for the inevitable apocalypse, which would give him a lot of odds and ends but not a lot of ammo.

I kind of like santa, though he annoys me, I just can't see him be gone, there will always be a server somewhere, and that server will always have him as an addon, no matter what we do :\
I agree with terminusEst13 though, that is a good changeup of the class, which probably could rip the (half-likely due to many people lazyness) problem I stated above.

Great poll. Tied at exactly 50/50.

I don't think Santa should be removed, not simply because he doesn't fit "story wise", but probably because I've been used to seeing him for the past few years, making it weird for him NOT to be there.

I vote to replace Santa with the Engineer (like he was supposed to be) and swap out the Engi for Santa every December.

Then give the Engineer his gravity gun back. That was the best weapon, and for me, the pulverizer just doesn't make up for it.

EDIT: Also, why is seemingly everything resistant vs. Super Lightning Arrows? How much damage does that thing do? If anything, I just want the ability to one hit those damn creepers with it.

It does one hit creepers. The 3 resistant ghouls are Jitterskull, Frostbite and Impaler.

They kept popping out whenever rain fell down and disappeared in the same moment. Are the rain sprites named "PONIA0" or something silly like that? That's kinda strange, because I see this bug for the first time. ... ... ... no, I'm not asking you to fix it, I'm just bragging.

ok i have noticed that pulse of cyborg FAIL A LOT, almost every 3 rounds, and when its bugged, even if you waste all, you will not be able to use it until the next round.

Just for clarification, wasting all of what?

Also, as the poll stands Santa is being removed from LoD. Unfortunately, he never fit in with the other humans and he was more of a comical character than anything. Therefore, a new class is being made to replace it. I'd prepare myself if I were you, I'll bring some updates in a week.
