Touhou is overrated too.... I think.
Counter Strike/COD (same thing for me, i played CS for 3 years in the past and i wont do it anymore....Even doom3 was really more fun)
Pokemon (i have finished the first one and have seen some video about the last games, but anyways, i dont like the RPG style' and the gameplay of pokemon, the atmosphere too.....there is some tactic/strategy game who look really more interesting).

Crappy games everyone has a boner for.. This has always been an interesting topic!

League of Legends - I dunno, I've never liked these birds-eye view games where you control a squad or some shit and blahblahblah, just not my cup of tea. Same goes for the Diablo games, WoW, and so on. I don't have the patience for that stuff.

Quake - I don't think it's a bad game by any means, but it pales compared to Doom. Same goes for Heretic and Hexen.

FNAF - Like some others, I just think it's... dumb... I see zero appeal.

Terraria - It just seemed like a 2D Minecraft to me. I'm sure there's a lot more to it, and (like the rest of this list) I'm not saying it's bad objectively, just doesn't appeal to me personally. I love playing Minecraft with friends, on the flip side of that.

Sports games - Aside from classic SNES NBA Jam, I love that game! Oh, I think Mario Tennis is kinda fun too, but that's not exactly a sports game so much as a Mario spinoff.

Most modern FPS games:

QFT. They bore the shit out of me. I literally poop when confronted with them. In fact, off the top of my head, the only modern FPS games I had fun with are the Left 4 Dead games. They dare to step outside the box to a degree, and I enjoy that.

There are more but I can't think of them at the moment.

Games I enjoy that are hated on frequently (or just sorta ignored):

Guitar Hero. The series is overdone as fuck and the new one coming out looks god awful, but 1 - 3 are fun rhythm games that are great to play with friends. (I also love DDR, so there's that.)

Rollercoaster Tycoon 2. There's something satisfying about starting with a measley $10,000, blank plot of land, and turning it into a sprawling park with 5,000+ guests at any given time. Designing coasters is way fun, too! (RCT3.. We don't speak of that dark chapter.)

Smash Bros 64. I'll admit, the series has become insanely overrated, but I still enjoy all 4 of them. The 64 version is the best though - despite those blocky graphics, there's this little thing called balance that has been completely ignored since the first game. Melee onward just has "lol top 3, everyone else sux" bullshit that pisses me off. Also all the new characters are generally very faggy, 64 = best roster.

The SNES Dragonball Z games. The modern DBZ games are pretty much retarded button mashing bullshit, but the SNES games had a unique formula that made them far more than just Street Fighter clones. (I love Street Fighter 2 very much, though.) The flying and need to recharge - as well as the overall more cinematic presentation - was very novel at the time, and they're still fun today.

Team Fortress Classic. I dunno man, I just like this one more than TF2. I love the TF2 "meet the dude" videos, and the game does have a certain appeal that makes sense to me, but I just think the old one is a better package overall. I know and accept that this isn't the common opinion.

Of course, these are just opinions. I'd never judge an individual for what games they like, I fucking hate when people do that shallow ass bullshit.

I must say Heretic/Hexen (i love those games) dont have the dynamism of DOOM, not a lot of FPS are like doom, i mean, quickness with a lot of ennemies who come at you with bullet/fireballs but you can kill them like 4 ennemies in 1 shot with a SSG, it makes DOOM the best dynamic fps ever for me.... ;)
Heretic and Hexen were less dynamic, Quake too...... but all the fps from the 90's were pretty good anyways (Duke Nukem 3D, Blood...), compared to the ones who want to be realistic (and slow/not a lot of weapons or with others bad ideas :/ )
I hope the next DOOM will show the "direction" but not sure.... (sorry for my english again).

Don't worry, DBZ games on the SNES were very good! I dont like the last ones where you do A-A-A-B+X or B-A-B+Y, i hate it...i prefer the combo like the street fighter style.
I hope the next Dbz Super Buthoden will be awesome.... Doom_kid, do you know there will be a new Buthoden with a lot of characters (for 3DS) ? Type "DBZ Extreme Buthoden 3DS" on google.
And yeah, DBZ Tenkaichi, i liked it a little but it became boring after a moment....

• Five Nights at Freddy's and Banjo-Kazooie - I don't see the appeal in them.
• Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2 - The campaigns are boring, and you can complete one map in like 2-3 minutes. There's hardly any difficulty.
• Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask - The story is boring,

For the other way around:

• Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker - I love the art style, and the story is just great. Let's not forget the music...
• Counter-Strike - I don't know why, I just love it. It's fun when you manage to get in a server.

Oh yeah, the Zelda series! I agree that Wind Waker is basically the only good 3D Zelda. On the flip side of that I really like Link to the Past and LOVE Link's Awakening, holy fucking shit they are just.... Simply perfect. That Sequelitis video on Zelda put everything into words that I could not, definitely worth watching for all Zelda fans, even if you love the 3D Zelda games.

There are a few I haven't played - Hyrule Warriors and Link Between Worlds, so I can't really comment on them, but from what I saw in the aforementioned video.. I'm looking forward to giving one of the two a try.

Regarding Banjo-Kazooie, I just think that Mario 64 is a much better take on the 3D platformer/collect-a-thon formula. I don't really like the control in Banjo, definitely not as intuitive as M64.

Mario Sunshine blows them both away, though. Mario Galaxy is decent, but I'd rather play M64.

Minecraft is actually boring as hell unless you manage to play a multiplayer game where:

*You don't get spawnkilled by the people who already have full diamond gear
*You don't spend 10 minutes wandering in the middle of nowhere, where there are no people nearby
*All the resources near the spawn are not used up by the 10k players that have been there before you (mostly related to the second)

Starting with Ghosts I haven't met anyone who showed any interest.

Ghosts itself sucked so much. Well, on PC. I played it on the Free Weekend thing from Steam and it looked like dirt was kicked onto the screen.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - This game was the worst Elder Scrolls game I've played and alot of people praise that but not something like Oblivion. The gameplay was extremely bland and way too easy to beat the damn game. The game does look very pretty though. (Not as pretty or colorful as Oblivion though )

Faster Than Light - It did look interesting for me at first glance but I never saw the appeal to it afterwards. I do like watching some of the space battles and they can get pretty hectic.

Garry's Mod - I do actually like the game but I lost interest and after seeing everyone play GMod on Youtube it got extremely boring. I have no clue how in the world, but I didn't find much to do.

Grand Theft Auto V- After beating the story and having no one to play with, I didn't really enjoy it at all after that. The gameplay gets repetitive for me it seems, doing the same things over again.

Now for a reverse..

Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number - I've played 25 hours (and counting) of HM2 and I enjoyed the hell out of it despite the criticism it recieved. I feel like Dennaton did a massive improvement to the sequel. Wiping out an entire level of 90+ enemies feels so much more satisfying in the sequel than the first, and the best part, the music kept me going even when I wanted to ragequit so bad.

Five Nights At Freddy's - I see alot of criticism from this and wasn't surprised, but I still enjoy the story and theorizing with other people. The major thing that dumbs this game down is the fanbase and the (literally) never-ending hype for it.. Other than that it does get repetitive and after a couple of the jumpscares I don't ever jump to it.

Minecraft- This game can actually be pretty fun if you're in a server with your friends and you have something on your mind to build. Otherwise, I don't see a point to ever playing this at all. The fanbase is also quite awful too.

Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Blacklist - I really enjoyed this game even though many dislike it, mainly for it not being a true stealth game like Chaos Theory or Double Agent was. I will say the game doesn't make sense at some points, like if a guard is looking at you for 5 seconds and doesn't realize, and you snap his neck, that's disappointing.
