I'd want to ask about BFG10K in Skulltag. How does it exactly work, does it have tracers or only the ball?
It's literally just a rapid-fire 100% accurate hitscan with a big explosion as a bulletpuff.
In function, at least. IMO, even more of an ezmode weapon than the old ST minigun.
It did ridiculous damage for its ammo cost, too.

I'd say his weapons can be reloaded while shooting. =P

Man, have you been living under a rock your whole life? That "technology"'s existed since WWII. Ask Blazcowicz.

Leave my rock alone >:( And, now that I think about it, you're right! Still; those weapons are nothing compared to the one Doomguy has, in both ammo capacity and the amount of weapons!

Not to mention that the Super Shotgun fires both barrels simultaneously, while a real coachgun would break if some moron tried that.

its a hitscan weapon iirc, it simply explodes on impact. and takes 5 cells per shot so its less ammo efficient then then the regular bfg or damage per minute last time i checked.

What kind of coachgun are you using? One made out of cardboard? I've fired a coachgun, both barrels at the same time and it held together very well. Kicked like a mule, but it won't break.

Most simply, it may not cause an immediate catastrophic failure, but it's generally not good for user nor gun. That's a part of why most double-barreled shotguns have been made with selective fire triggers in recent times.

I find it hard to believe that it will significantly damage the gun. Break-barrel guns are extremely simple mechanically, and shotgun shells are pretty low pressure.
