Coverting a .WAD file to a .pk3 file?

It would be nice if any of you told me how to covert a .wad into a .pk3..

I hope this thread isn't too dumb. I'm a noob -.-

It's kinda hard to explain. If you give me the wad you need to be converted, i could do it, so then you can see what i did to convert it.

All you need to do is start a new .zip archive in SLADE 3, make folders of sprites, sounds, etc, and move the respective files from the .wad in there.
The Ranger - New class for HeXen.
ZDoom Wars - I drew some pictures.
Samsara - Some class-based mod I guess?

You have two choices.

1) Compress the wad inside a zip and rename .zip to .pk3.

2) use the automatic "wad-to-pk3" converter that Tribeam made. I can't see to find the link to it though.

I did it with WinRAR somehow, and it got fucked up
