Well March is here, and it's time to kick off the first Saturday of the month with something nice. Revenge of the 90's is a 20 level wad from Doomkid thats got classic style maps, while adding in new weapons. Let's see if it's as pleasing as it looks.
Try this audio reading if you have difficulty reading the above, or you're just in the mood to have someone read it for you. :3

Oh my, I'm flattered this is being hosted, but the multiplayer spawns are dreadful, arguably the main flaw of this pack. If its not too late, feel free to edit the spawn locations/rooms to be more.. Practical
Regardless, thanks so much for hosting this - I hope people enjoy it in spite of its flaws :)

Their wasn't much of a crowd last night, been a slow week I guess..
I found the gameplay to be imbalanced, relying far too much on cheap traps and sudden ambushes such as the overuse of BFG Zombies and Archviles in very cramped locations with little time to react to get a player killed rather then relying on genuine strategy or foresight, granted the approach to some levels did require thinking before proceeding but most of the time it ended up with dying 3/4 of way through due to some daft enemy placement.
It was fun nonetheless.

Yeah, that wad is very dated, and there's a lot about it I don't like looking back. It's pretty good for singleplayer, but in survival, the lack of saving makes it a goddamn chore.
I'm working on tweaking my TheDevilzWork wad to make it better for survival - The monster placement (ang just generally everything) is done far better. I'll post it in a week or so, hopefully you guys will like it enough to give it a whirl :)
