Yes it does, riben as I told you on your server, you have to be more original, that how people will like your map, if Xsnake was here, you can be sure that he'll refuse your map, even if he his not here, try to make the map thinking he is the guy that you have to make happy and then your map will be awesome(maybe).

I agreed with Eandrave that I would wait with the testpack untill he updated his map with the tips I gave him yesterday. I'm giving time untill sunday, then I will release a new testpack.

Edit: I really like the ao oni map as it has become. Is this the version mr_fiat worked on as well?
I'll add it to the testpack.

Sup, here are some informations about my map: ZM25 - "The good the bad and the ugly part-2".
This map itself is a village, using the old property of the weather(from my old ZM14) + additionnal script for a real scenario.

The map has no song, but it can be activated with the main secret.

I've got a request to delay the testpack a bit longer to allow Galaxy to finish his map. The testpack will be released on thursday unless otherwise notified.

@eandrave: I still haven't received your map. Be sure to send it.

EDIT: almost forgot to mention.
As an idea from Blood, I will be seperating the testpack. zh-testpack_rxx will be holding all maps that are currently in development and need regular updating.
zh-testpack_Fxx however will be holding all finished maps that don't need updating, or only get updated every 6-8 months or so (i.e. ZM09, ZM14 etc.). This way we have less to download and It's clearer what maps are ready for the mappack.

Testpack_F01 will be holding maps that are finished developing or only get developed every 6-8 months. This will reduce how much you will have to download every testpack.

Mspark, I changed the mapslot number to ze24 to keep under ze30. Please try to stick to this. The map is a big improvement, though the darkness is too dark. Maybe try increasing it just a little bit. I did notice a few missing textures, like here for example:

Eandrave, your map needs alot of improvement. It still looks very much like map31 or doom2, and it's not very interesting in general. Please try working on it for another month without rushing it.

EDIT: Mspark, be sure to order your ambientsounds so they wont affect other maps. As for now, it affects my waterfall sounds on ze29, though it's nothing major for now. Be sure to fix this.

I was under the impression that was the point; at least, when I played the map, the very first thing I said was "Wait, this is MAP31"

Indeed, ambientsound slots are completly a mess, I don't know witch slots are free or not :S, One day my igor castle got the stiffje igor music on it :S

Also, can someone e-mail to rabbit lord to fix his map for zan 2.0?
Riben, Just saying that your "new mappack" is replacing the zm19 from the testpack, and that something new over that newmappack is replacing some vanilla objects

Sure, that why I'm still against adding the old map, if a map is see as old, its probably because of bugs, you'll have to fix it if you want to host them.

Well guys here is a demo of ZM25, you guy can test it, give me feedback, there are still some work to do:
. making the main event secret with good/bad/ugly
. adding secrets in the map
. adding the criminal attack
. adding more song
. maybe more details
. maybe some fix

Ok guys here is ZM25, the map is done.
What are the changes compare the the alpha:
. some bug fixed
. map is more bigger
. finished the script

@Fused there are 2 song in the wad one for the misty and the other for the secret, they are in .mp3 I prefer to let you convert them to avoid some bad sound quality from me. :neutral:

I'm still looking for a loop song with this one it will be a total of 3, but actually I found nothing, if you have a suggestion feel free to ask.

I was also tired of making screens sorry.

Noted. Just out of curiosity, will this be a ZM map with a ZE ending like Vincent's map? Imo a fine idea, aslong as it's balanced enough.

Also yeah, java really helps with this. I'm getting really experienced in that myself, and it's most noticeable in Colossus 2 :cool: . Have fun with it.

@Mspark I noticed there's alot of problems that affect maps. I'm really not gonna look after maps anymore, so I'm removing your resource pack for now, together with The Dark that depents on it (I guess). Fix your stuff before you send any updates and try to keep the size down. Most ogg files in there have bad compression.

Is this resourcepack even needed if I didn't add Someplace?

Hello,

I didn't show myself on this forum for a little while now and I will stay a little on the background.
Anyway, I'm trying to work on a 'new map' which ishould combine ZM and ZE.
I don't promise anything ofcorse :) , but since I learn alot of other things at school that interest me (Javascript, C#, HTML, PHP etc) I started to put more time in the things I learn on my study.
As usual, the map will be big and the theme is going to be a city.

I didn't play new maps (yet), but I'm a little curious so that will change soon.
