The reason it shows the camera change is because of a nearby linedef action too close to the switch, I just changed it as soon as I read your post so now it's updated again... >_>

I don't mind having Marcus in the map, it just seems a little bit overkill.

Could anybody test ze17 with some people? Preferably the end. I just noticed the final scene crashes with bots, both online as offline, as soon as I call a instakill floor beneath them. I'm afraid the same could be happening with real players, although I didn't notice problems when testing it myself with 5+ people.

edit: nvm the testing, it works fine with normal players.

Here's a update of zm09 :D
what's changed/new
-Rainfall script remade (still a bit buggy in some areas, but it rain on a correct distance from the player now)
-the maze is increased (that with two zombies/bagels will now allow to go up to that camp spot where people were having a bit of difficult to reach it (not including me :p)
-Some areas inside the caves were changed
-Add some new details inside the house
-Add a new debug script (check the ravishing/white face script status)

Well unfortunately, I still couldn't find what's breaking or stoping the whiteface and ravishing scripts, I hope with this new debug script I can find what's going on online

Ok guys here is a new version of ZE26 with less lags I hope:
- Removed a tons of decorate things
- Removed some 3D floors

BUG: my rainfall made people get 1fps, so everyone is rqting it when it rains :S
I'll release a little fix (remove the rainfall), but for now I just recomend to remove zm09 from maplist :(

Just an idea but, since we have like a lot of (old) maps wich arent getting played anymore due bugs incompleteness or whatever. my idea was instead of creating maps to edit/finish old maps. its half work + some nostalgia for players.

Well, I tried the map out and have varied thoughts about it.

First of all I noticed you ripped the Wolfenstein map for a base of your map. This is alright aslong as you edit the map enough. In your case it ain't really that much edited. Surely there are custom parts, but most areas, especially spawn, have not/barely been touched.

secondly, the map in general is quite linear. With an exeption of like one part, zombies could basicly walk a straight line whilst checking each room. That isn't very efficient since the map could be set in just a minute. Perhaps try connection rooms a bit more and add more hiding spots. You probably want to make the long hallways a bit shorter aswell while adding more rooms and such.

Lastly, the music. In my opinion, it ain't really fitting. I believe Mspark used it for a map of his that was also named Someplace. It's alright that you use it, but I would advice you use something a bit more fitting.

As for now, I won't add it yet. Try to improve general quality and avoid making it look like wolfenstein too much.

keep working on it, as IMB said you should add some higger level, and please make doors open without pressing and quickly, or your map won't be win by humans.

It's like guardsoul's one, the doors are killing the gameplay.
