First time poster here. I haven't played doom since the early days of the PS1 and recently got it off steam as an early Christmas present. I got the Brutal Doom mod working with it fine, but Zandronum doesn't seem to stomach custom player skins very well.

I was trying to use the simplifed doomgirl player skin off this site (2nd link from the top) but when I place it in the skins folder of my doom install, and try to run the game, I get this error message.
Execution could not continue.
Script error, "femaleplayer.wad:DECORATE" line 102:
"player.colorset" is an unknown actor property
Zandronum is the best doom emulator I've found thus far, and so far, I've been very happy with it. If I can get this fixed, I'll be perfectly content to do another run through of this old game. So....does anyone have any ideas of what I'm doing wrong here?
Problem w/ Brutal Doom, Zandronum and player skins
RE: Problem w/ Brutal Doom, Zandronum and player skins
That skin player class is made for ZDoom using its new features, it won't work in Zandronum for some time, because Zandronum is based on old version of ZDoom.
And still, if it worked, it's using DECORATE, so it would replace your precious BD player, breaking the mod.
BD is made the way it doesn't really support player skins or custom player classes without modifications of its code.

Hm, I see.... so there's no way to implement this without stepping on Brutal Doom. Alright then, I'll just settle for the game as is.
Thank you for the quick reply!
