Make sure your ports are open for that specific computer to use.
You can usually see what adress it is, you have to look at those numbers that usually are at the bottom on the window, right below the field where you type commands.

You should also make sure that you have nothing blocking the server, such as a firewall or antivirus programs that dont know that it is supposed to allow the trffic.

You have to forward the UDP port which you host server on, it is usually 10666 (it's the number which usually appears on the end of IP address, after the ':').

Too lazy to explain how to do that exactly, this site is dedicated to port forwarding, you should read it: http://portforward.com/english/routers/ ... rindex.htm

Also you should read this topic, there's a guide to that too:

This signature is empty and useless, I would write another useless idiotism here but people will call me a noob for that, so sorry, no more signatures for you. Go somewhere else.

I've got a server running and I've added my server so it doesn't say <NO RESPONSE> in Doomseeker. Problem is no one can find or join my server. I've port forwarded 10666-10700 to my static LAN IP, so can someone tell me why this isn't working?

I just figured out my ISP somehow blocks this traffic because of Fioptics (branded fiber optics). I have tried bridging their routed modem and nothing works. Since they can't supply me with a straight modem or bridge my modem without me paying for a static WAN I am switching to TWC.

Still nothing? That's interesting usually port forwarding always does the trick I haven't done it for about 2 years now, I have a feeling I've completely forgotten how to do it, lol (I forgot how to use Doombuilder and slade for a while too) but are you stuck anywhere on how to port forward? Maybe you can show someone what you are doing via screenshots, take each step with screenshots and see if we can't spot the problem.
Play scary.wad, it's horrifying: http://zandronum.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=5289

The one posting on this account is not Cubasy, rather it is WhiteAce.

Nazi Zombies doom edition, fix 3 (or 0.7.3) Will be released next week if all goes well, expect some big changes in Map03
