Ultimate torment and torture wad (utnt)

The first map. TNT01 it is called.

Extra blood effects (not overdone)
Dark curch/catherdral landscapes, cool architecture earthy/dark colors and textures.
Awesome assortment of demons. But not too many random ones so it does not take away from classic doom too much.
Kickass gameplay and perfect difficulty.

loads of them, also from Plutonia I/II and MM I/II

On a more special note, map07 has, to me, always marked the start of the real 'doom experience' while the first six maps are more like a tutorial.

HR2 Map15
I've been playing that for a long time and I've never seen anyone else beat it in survival...
(I'm sure now everyone will go "psh that map is easy")

psh that map is a grind...

But, I have to agree, it's a very distinctive map with quite some 'weird' charm.
