Player tier list results

I was talking to a couple of players and noticed that they had very differing opinions on a 'controversial' topic.

I linked them Capodecima's tier list of player (which, SHOULD be considered a fairly poor list as it's missing many players, and a lack of distinguishing tiers as far as doom skill is concerned), and noticed something interesting.

Since I have had a slight hunch about this for a while, I decided to ask around and inquire further opinions.

Just as I had expected, a majority of the more experienced players had given the tier list a much higher percentage accuracy.

The players exclusively from the 'Top Tier' section (excluding myself) gave an average of 84.2% accuracy of capo's tier list.

The players from the 'Low Tier' section (even though VERY small) averages to 68.6% accuracy of the tier list.



Although this data may seem indicative of player behavior, I received scattered results from varying subjects. I began to notice that player activity also indicated an extreme result of a high or low percentage of accuracy.

Unfortunately this is probably common knowledge to the lot of us, I thought it was interesting and wanted to share it with everybody else.


*** I forgot to add that a player that I perceived to have less contact with players in the MID TIER onward, had a lower percentage of accuracy overall.

Well, that's only logical, because in all honesty, if someone claims you are in top 5 of Zanzan players, then what reason would you have to disagree and claim the list isn't accurate?

I am going to say that the Top Tier is thinking of a higher accuracy since they judge by activity more than skill. While the Low Tier does the vice versa. Though it's interesting to see Capo doing something productive.

One of the top tier players suggested their should be a tier inbetween Top and High tier, and many others would have switched players inbetween tiers, which I cannot argue with, however I asked for accuracy given the list that I was provided with.

This is dumb, I said the list was 100% accurate, but Edward only put me as 90%. Fake statistics much?

Capo obviously threw LF under the bus as you could see. Don't see how anyone would take anything by him seriously.

Capo's logical deduction is based purely on emotion. I can't agree with Nati anymore than this.

Also wasn't it posted on IDL?
